I grew up in the Silver Valley and graduated from Kellogg High School. I went to college at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa ID where I received a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and played basketball for 4 years. I began teaching science at West Middle School in Nampa and coached basketball and volleyball there for 4 years. After 8 years in southern Idaho, I chose to move back to Kellogg to teach and coach at Kellogg Middle and High School. As our family began to grow, I stepped down from coaching high school kids and began coaching youth teams that my children were involved with. I earned my Masters Degree from the University of the Southwest in School Counseling and am currently the KMS counselor and athletic director. My husband and I have three wonderful children and two dogs. Outside of school, we stay busy at the lake, on the ski mountain, at motorcycle tracks, hiking in the mountains, and traveling to sports tournaments.
