I grew up in the Silver Valley and graduated from Kellogg High School. I then went to college at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa ID. While attending NNU, I received a bachelor's degree in elementary education and played basketball for 4 years. After college, I began teaching science at West Middle School in Nampa while coaching basketball and volleyball for an additional 4 years. After the 8 years in southern Idaho, I chose to move back to Kellogg to take the Girls Varsity Basketball coaching position and begin teaching science at Kellogg Middle School. After having 3 children who are all involved in athletics, my priorities shifted, and I earned my Masters Degree from the University of the Southwest in school counseling in order to become a counselor and athletic director, letting me focus on coaching my own children. Currently, I'm in my third year of being the KMS counselor, and my 7th as the athletic director. Outside of school, I stay busy being involved with my children's activities and spending time at the lake with family and friends.
