Merry Christmas!

Great job, KMS families! Your commitment to student attendance has made this holiday season extra special. Let's keep the momentum going when school resumes on January 6th. A strong start to the new year means a strong finish! #ksdstudentsfirst

Dear Parents/Guardians,
The Kellogg School District Board of Trustees has begun the process of implementing a new policy to promote student health and safety, improve academic focus, and prevent cyberbullying. This policy comes from the "Phone Free Learning Act", an Executive Order issued by Idaho Governor Little on October 31, 2024.
This policy will require students in grades K-8 to keep their personal electronic devices (phones, tablets, smartwatches, etc.) off and stored in their lockers, backpacks, or designated classroom storage areas during the school day. Students in grades 9-12 will be required to keep their devices off and stored during instructional time.
We understand the importance of technology in today’s world, but we believe this policy will create a more focused and positive learning environment for all students.
Please be on the lookout for more information, after the holiday break, as the policy is finalized. We will provide additional details, including specific guidelines and exceptions for students with special needs and emergencies.
Thank you for your support!

Permission slips MUST be turned in by 12/31!
Money turned in by 1/07
